Hersh Packing & Rubber Company is a family owned business with three locations that are in Canal Winchester, Hilliard, and Heath, Ohio to better serve your needs. We specialize in hydraulic hose and fittings with an effort to stock as many end configurations as possible.<\/p>\n

We are a FULL line Parker Fluid Connectors distributor and Parker’s largest distributor in central Ohio. Our comprehensive capabilities are unmatched! In The Beginning<\/h4><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Hersh Packing was founded in 1958 by V.R. (Hersh) Hershberger. He was a former Indianapolis Power & Light, third shift boiler operator and Butler University Graduate. He relocated from Indiana selling packing for a company who went out of business shortly after. That meant he was faced with the decision to go home or stay and try to succeed. He stayed\u00a0and started Hersh Packing & Rubber Company out of the trunk of his car, in Canal Winchester, Ohio. His only employee was his wife, Edna and together they set out on a fantastic journey.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ animation=”top-to-bottom” animation_delay=”300″][vc_icon type=”linecons” icon_linecons=”vc_li vc_li-shop” color=”black” size=”lg” align=”center” link=”url:%23||” el_class=”cbm”]

Making Moves<\/h4><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As time went on, Hersh Packing and Rubber Company grew and so did the need for more space. Hersh Packing moved to it’s current location at 312 Bowen Rd, Canal Winchester, in the early 1960\u2019s. Then,\u00a0Hersh decided to add a couple of key employees, Earl V. Joiner at Outside Sales and Jim Swartzlander at Inside Sales. Both of who set off to help the company grow and were integral parts of what Hersh Packing is now. They also stayed over 25 years and ended up retiring from Hersh Packing & Rubber Company.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ animation=”top-to-bottom” animation_delay=”600″][vc_icon type=”entypo” icon_entypo=”entypo-icon entypo-icon-direction” color=”black” size=”lg” align=”center” link=”url:%23||” el_class=”cbm”]

Expansion <\/h4><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In 1995, Hersh Packing added at second store location on Roberts Road in Columbus. This proved to be a wonderful decision for the company. Our West store has consistently been a top performing store and makes the highest numbers of hose assemblies out of all three of the locations. Heath Addition<\/h4><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In 2007, Hersh Packing had grown enough to expand East and opened a third location on James Road in Heath, Ohio. World’s Largest ParkerStore<\/h4><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In July 2013, Hersh Packing was lucky enough to move it’s Columbus\u00a0location to a bigger and better location at 1921 Wilson Rd. This massive space was the previous home to a part Parker Hannifin’s Tube Fitting Division. 60 Years of Service After the Sale!<\/h4><\/div>

We are currently remodeling and expanding our Canal Winchester store and will be celebrating with a grand re opening.
